Lilian Afshar is the Dubai based designer behind L’ Afshar clutches.  I’m all about finding beautiful things that are truly unique and these perspex box clutches  definitely hit the mark.  The collection is all crafted in Dubai and set to go global.   The scarab beetle and the dragonfly are combined to symbolize East meets West.  The scarab beetle being a common bug from the east and the dragonfly being a “symbol of change, adaptability and strength.”  The clutches are available from mini to oversize and prices start at $350.  The Winter 2014 collection is clean and modern, with shades and textures that are simple and versatile.  The original jewel tones are still available at L’Afshar.
